Review Policy

The Introvert's Wonderland accepts books for review, although no e-books are currently accepted, from publicists, authors, agents etc. to my own discretion. You can contact me directly through my e-mail or through any of my social media pages (Twitter or Instagram ). Please keep in mind:

• I only accept print books.
• If you pitch a book to me, do not 100% expect to see a review.
• If I do agree to review your book I need at least 6 weeks to read it, once it has arrived,  and reviews are uploaded on a Sunday. No exceptions.
• I only post honest reviews. I refuse to pretend to like something, so if you ask me to review your book there is always the possibility of a negative review

What I like:

What I look for in a book changes often and I'm open to all sorts, however, I do have the types of books I read more often than others as they appeal to me more. These are:

• Crime fiction
• Thrillers
• Urban fantasy
• Young Adult
• Anything with character types I haven't really seen before

However, there are a few things I really don't think I'd enjoy. This includes:

• Religious books of any kind. I am not religious in any way, but I also don't want to promote atheism on my blog.
• Books relating to sport. I don't watch much sport and even the sport I do like, tennis, doesn't take up much of my time. If the book is heavily based on sports, I probably won't understand it enough to write a good review.
• Non-fiction books. I can only read a non-fiction book on a topic that interests me, so if you're not sure, contact me!
• Self-help books.  Much like books about religion, I don't find them interesting in any way. This may change in the future, but for now, it's a no.
• Business, finance, economics or politics. I just don't find them interesting and will only accept them in rare circumstances. 
• Erotica. I'm 17 years old. No, just no.
